As a PROJECT LEAD, youll lead a team at a client site in delivering service and value through key reliability projects. Project Leads are also responsible for growing and developing team members in building their own career vision.

Accountabilities

  • Deliver specific product to the customer through adhering to internal standards on:
  • Schedule
  • Cost
  • Risk
  • Quality
  • Communication with team and customer
  • Day to day operations of project
  • Supervising, setting goals, and objectives for execution team (2-10 individual performers)
  • Communicating project progress to the customer
  • Reporting and tracking quality and efficiency (performance) for execution team
  • Consistent communication with customer (reports, meetings, etc.)
  • People highly utilized
  • Project plans are up to date
  • Personnel hours, costs, and metrics are reported accurately on a regular basis
  • Ensure team members understand work expectations
  • Supervise 2-10 team members with an average of 6 team members

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience executing projects
  • 1+ year leading a team of 2-10 people or more
  • Experience working in the field (large industrial/complex facilities)
  • Understanding of Project Management Fundamentals
  • Ability to work at a customer site in the field
  • Ability to hold others accountable
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Business acumen and communication
  • Capable of evaluating resource needs and allocating to personnel
  • Effective at communicating expectations, tasks, and procedures to team members, and project status updates, needs, and alerts to customer
  • Performs quality checks on task work and records progress, productivity, and quality
  • Sense of urgency
  • Problem solver

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience in refineries or chemical plants
  • Experience in PowerBI
  • Experience in inspection, mechanical integrity and/or reliability services

Direct Reports

This position has supervisory responsibilities of 2-10 team members in managing task execution work
