Job Description

Global Mobility Senior Specialist : Job Profile Summary would be HEREJob Duties

  • Creates and maintains all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for global mobility and US immigration matters
  • Performs research and provides insights on risks, cost and human capital implications for global opportunities
  • Collaborates with Sales team to ensure they have adequate data for preparing global work proposals
  • Coordinates all US immigration processes (i.e., T1 visas, H1B visas, Green Card)
  • Coordinates all necessary travel documentation, visas and work permits for employees traveling internationally
  • Develops and implements HR policies and procedures for each global branch and office, ensuring compliance with local law and regulation
  • Drives decision-making processes involving the establishment of subsidiaries, local branches and permanent establishments in collaboration with Leadership Team
  • Serves in an HR Generalist capacity for all international employees
  • Oversees all domestic & global mobility needs and liaises with employees, managers, HR and immigration/relocation vendors on all immigration and relocation matters
  • Identifies and/or creates resources for expat cultural assimilation
  • Ensures the effective onboarding and offboarding of international hires
  • Serves as employee main point of contact for HR when traveling or relocating abroad
  • Designs and administers repatriation programs
  • Manages global employee benefits programs including plan selection, enrollment, renewals and employee support
  • Identifies, implements and maintains country-specific payroll solutions
  • Liaises with employees and third-party tax vendors to coordinate employee tax processing
  • Assists with special projects and other HR duties as needed
  • Coordinate the global Tax Equalization (TEQ) Program.
  • Coordinate the Intl Business Traveler (IBT) program. Which consists of consultation with Pinnacle Mgt and employees, immigration requirements, medical coverage and TEQ coordination

Accountabilities 

  • Global HR & Expatriate Programs: This includes but is not limited to HR policies for global branch offices ensuring compliance with local law, repatriation programs, benefits programs, payroll and tax management, etc.
  • Global Sales Support: Performance research and provides insights on risks, costs and human capital implications for global opportunities. 
  • Global & Domestic Mobility: Maintain global mobility processes and coordinate employee deployment, travel and all necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in an HR role in International Business and Global Mobility
  • Experience creating processes and SOPs
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to identify and prioritize objectives while managing daily requirements
  • This is NOT a remote position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPHR or equivalent Certification
  • Bachelors Degree

There will be no direct reports to this role

Working Environment

  • Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around office machinery with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, lift and carry under 30 lbs., and perceive depth.

Tools and PPE Requirements

  • Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, and telephone.
